The animation industry is the emerging cultural and creative industries. Derivative products are the industry an important part of the profit. At present, China is vigorously promoting the development of cultural creative industry, government support has focused on the anime content products. But companies often ignore the derivatives of the design and development. Derivatives not only is the source of recovery of profits, good derivatives can also play the role of expand cartoon image influence. Domestic products design and development mode is more rigid, lack of innovation. So the market share significantly inferior to foreign brands, not conducive to the development of the industry itself.Animation derivative products in addition to functional itself because of the cultural information is also an important part of a good user experience. This research mainly from the design method of the user experience, user experience based on the existing model, and try to combine the user preference to anime storyline of the image, based on the perceptual image of function, shape, and the plot three aspects of the data analysis and guidance for design of derivatives. The target population for validation of the final plan work, confirmed the feasibility of design scheme and design method.The review based on the user’s memory elements into level, is the main content of this study. Final results are basically reached the expected goal. Based on the reliable theory basis and data support to provide new methods and paths for derivative product development, in order to design a more can meet the demand of the user experience of cartoon derivative products.
