The Large Siamese Mesh Shell Structure Analysis

With the rapid development of the economy and pursuit of space structures, the reticulated shell is widely used abroad and home for lightweight, reasonable loaded character, materials economy, novelty, beautiful and diverse pattern and the capacity to form a large space. Reticulated shell, with a more complicated force status, belongs to statically undetermined structure. Numerous international and domestic designers and researchers have done some research and obtained achievements. However, the structure selection and joints problems of reticulated shells became a critical issue in design of reticulated shell, especially of double-layer reticulated shell.This paper mainly covers the following aspects:1. An overview of the development of the reticulated shell, including classification, and current research status in China; and summarizes the characteristics of the reticulated shell, structure selection, calculation principles and analytical methods, and node structure.2. Discuss the structure selection of reticulated shell combined with practical work of specific case byestablishing four different structural forms, and then choose the most appropriate model of the project for the project by comparing their structural performances and the use of steel.3. Introduce computing analysis software3D3S10.1and MIDAS GEN7.95, and adopt them for comparative calculation analysis of.4. Discuss the necessity of parting problem on structure from aspects of temperature effects, cycle and torsional effect; and analyze the static issue of training centre after parting.
