| Multimodal transportation is one of the most indispensable parts in logistics system.Also it plays an important role in trans-regional and long-distance transport, especiallyin cross-border transport. Routine selection is the most essential problem in the study onmultimodal transportation. It has a high practical significance to take transport cost,time, quality and convenience into consideration when we study the project thatconveying laptops from Chongqing to Europe using multimodal transportation.In this paper, the transport characteristics of laptops and the transportation networkaround Chongqing were analyzed. Next paths of laptops in Chongqing exporting toEurope were summarized. And then we put forward the multimodal transportationevaluation index system, and constructed the path-selection modal based on the greytheory and analytic hierarchy comprehensive evaluation method.Firstly, we made the definition of multimodal transportation and described itsadvantages. And we summarized and contrasted multimodal transportation presentsituation in domestic and abroad, and put forward some shortages in developingmultimodal transport in our country presently. And multimodal transport organizationmodes and selection methods were summarized.Secondly, construction condition of highway, railway, inland river and airwaytransport network in Chongqing was investigated. And the main transport routes bywhich the laptops exporting from Chongqing to European were selected from thenetwork.Thirdly, laptop computer has its own characteristics in transport cost, time, qualityand convenience. According to these aspects, we put forward evaluation index system,construct the selection modal, and calculated the most ideal route.Finally, we elaborated "Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe" railway’s great advantage onthis project, summarized the characteristics of inland river, highway, and railway, andmade a brief analysis of the electronic products’ transportation characteristics as a kindof special goods. |
