Studies On Route Selection Of Out-of-gauge Goods Transportation By Railway

With the development of social economy, China speeds up the pace of national key projects and defense construction, such as power, chemical and metallurgical. The demands for out-of-gauge goods that need to be transported by railway increase quickly. Most of these goods are all key equipments of large-style engineering project. Therefore, safe, economical, and rapid transport of out-of-gauge goods is of significance to the development of national economy.Out-of-gauge goods are large and larger transport space is needed. Wagon loaded with out-of-gauge freight must run more slowly than other trains when the trains approach the buildings and equipments near the railroad or meet trains on adjacent lines. In some cases, they cannot meet trains on adjacent lings. Transportation of out-of-gauge goods occupies more capacity of lines and the affect to railway corporation is great.Selecting the route reasonably can effectively guarantee the safety of transportation of out-of-gauge goods, reduce the affect and complexity to railway corporation. It is also the needs of market competition. In order to select the transportation route of out-of-gauge goods reasonably, the following tasks have been done in this dissertation:Analyze the new situation of out-of-gauge goods transportation that we face in railway in China.Analyze different factors, which will impact the choice of transportation route of out-of-gauge goods and divide them into two kinds.Set up selected models of feasible route and give the solution.Analyze the reasonable kind of factors of each feasible route by making use of fuzzy and comprehensive evaluation to make sure the best transportation route of out-of-gauge goods.Find the best transportation route of Yongdeng Converter station Transformer from Shenyang to Zhongpu by using the model just mentioned.Raise some protection measures from the point of the choice of transportation route of out-of-gauge goods.
