The Left-handed materials made up by metal and non-metallic inorganicmaterials are artificial electromagnetic materials, that the equivalent dielectricconstant and the equivalent magnetic permeability are negative. With thedevelopment of global information highway, people attribute of the material putforward new requirements. Left-handed materials get extensive attention as a result ofits unique electromagnetic propertiesThe current study of left-handed materials mainly is concentrated in the structuredesign and practical application aspect. Moreover, Left-handed materials structuredesign is the precondition of application. Firstly, the principal theory of Vesalago andabnormal Electromagnetic properties of left-handed materials, which include negativerefraction characteristics, inverse doppler effect, inverse cherenkov radiation, the antiGoos-Hanchen displacement and perfect lens, are introduced systematically. Basedon the theory of Prendy, the mechanism about the equivalent negative dielectricconstant and equivalent negative magnetic permeability producing are analyzed.Secondly, By applying the method of equivalent circuit, s-shaped metal resonancestructure is analyzed. The electromagnetic properties is analyzed by means of AnsoftHFSS simulating unit structure model and S parameters extraction method. At last, aleft-hand materials of K waveband are designed, and by changing the filling mediumand electric field polarization direction, the response of the plasma electric andmagnetic resonance is variational. At present, the development of k-band satellite hasa certain significance.
