Travel motor is one of the most important components in caterpillar engineeringvehicle drive system, it usually makes use of the multistage planetary gear system toreduction-transmission, which is the main actuator when engineering vehicle in thetransfer, walking in the process of production and keeps the agility and stability ofvehicles. Because of various types of product, bad working environment and complexworking conditions, and compared with foreign advanced travel motor products, atpresent domestic manufacturer come across a series of problems, such as simple types ofproducts to supply, limited service life, high manufacturing cost and the long design cycle,which seriously restricted the further development in the fields of our country engineeringmachinery. Therefore, this paper research content as follows:1. A in-deep research about macro-parameter caculation of travel motor, establish ascientific closed-power and planetary differential gearbox product seriation rapid designsystem in the function and service life conditions to achieve the goals aboutmacro-parameters and structure optimization of travel motor, which will provide strongtheoretical guidance for the development of travel motor seriation;2. Comparative study of travel motor of each drive plan, and determine the optimaltransmission structure; research the two-stage planetary gear train ratio optimizationmethod, use the minimum profile volume and axial size as the target function, presumethe two-stage ratios for optimization variables, meanwhile use the planet wheel number,tooth width coefficient and gear train installation condition as the constraint conditions toresearch the reasonable distribution method of ratio;3. Travel motor’s the load spectrum research; Based on analysing of the wholeworking load spectrum and calculate each gear equivalent torque load to determine theoptimization of planetary gear system’s macro-parameters each stage(such as toothnumber, module and so on.4. Based on Solidworks top-down parameterized system, research the logicalrelationship between each module and establish the overall structure of parameterizedsystem, meanwhile research the API’s functions and methods. Based on the research ongear parameters, use secondary development method to developed a module which has afunction to produce the profile accurate gear model; Introduce the method to structure theenterprise feature database and standard part library to realize the standardization,intelligent design and assembly of travel motor.
