In this paper we will combined ground source heat pump technology withground heat storage technology, realize the experiment that in the non-heatingseason, storage the heat in exhaust steam from the condenser into the soil, while inthe heating season, extract the heat from the condenser and the soil with theapplication of ground source heat pump technology. In this paper, we will use the FLUENT simulation to study the feasibility of theproject. First, set up the underground pipe and surrounding soil model, followed bythe division of the grid in the mesh, the grid should be compressed in the near pipearea, and be sparse properly in the faraway area. After set boundary conditions, wewill import the pipe and soil model into FLUENT, choose the solver and set specificboundary conditions so that the mathematical model of underground pipe transferinto the patterns that FLUENT recognized. This paper also involves several otherparts, including condensers, heat pumps, water loop in the user side, and buildingload, setting up the four-part mathematical model, using user-defined function (UDF)write the program of mathematical models and control equation, and loaded theminto FLUENT, combined with the ground pipe model to accomplish the simulation.Among them, user-defined function is mentioned above, which can strengthen thecapabilities of FLUENT solver function, according to their own requirements model, the user can write your own program, the function is written in C language, butwhich must be applied the DEFINE macro function in the program, so that it can beachieved with the FLUENT link.As for the system needs to run for years, so in this simulation, is a decadesimulation. According to the results after the FLUENT simulations end, analysis forthe changes of the soil temperature is essential for a year, and for a decade, including soil heat storage capacity annually, heat capacity attracted by heat pumpchanges and the annual change in the value of the COP of the heat pump, also, analysis heat capacity provide by the system and the heating area that the systemcan be provide. Finally, use economic comparative analysis with the system whichextracted waste steam heat with heat pump only during the heating season and theconventional heating method. after the analysis for the items above, we concluded: The heat storage andutilization system is both economical and feasible.
