The Landscape Design Research Of Transformation From Old Factory Into The Cultural Industry Park Area

Nowadays, the worldwide economic transformation, which is brought by thehighly centralized global capital and flexible production mode, has left a legacy of oldindustry to contemporary urban abandoned land and waste. In cities, the old industrialabandoned land is always occupying superior geographical location at the urban spacepattern, thus for a long time, these idly abandoned lands hinder the pace of modernurban development, leading to the unbalanced, uncoordinated and unsustainableproblems of urban development increasingly prominent.In China, the old factory reform research is still in preliminary stage, but for lackof theoretical analysis about "adjust measures to local conditions", a set of completeand systematic theoretical development system has not been built yet. Especially inspace reform practice, when the old industrial waste plant transformation has become acultural industrial park, our country blindly follows foreign old industrial factoriesmodification mode, as a result of killing our own personality and characteristics. Intoday’s situation driven by economic interests, old factory takes the destructive meansto develop land more seriously. What’s more, there is no development after starting andis already on the brink of dying. Therefore, reasonable transformation pattern andsufficient industry development plan are the effective ways to give the old industrialfactory a new life. It is practically significant to promote a city’s cultural industrydevelopment and economic sustainable development.This thesis mainly researches landscape design, that is based on the transformation of old factory into cultural industrial park. Research purpose is how theold plant transformation of cultural industrial park can achieve the expected effect, thatis, through landscape renovation, there emerges the integration of the industrial park,including cultural heritage, history appearance, business benefit and multiple functions.From the perspective of diversification, both the theoretical and practical analysis canbe systematically done to study the above question, thus we can sum up designingprinciples and designing methods for landscape reconstruction that is suitable fortransformation from old factory to cultural industrial park area in the citydevelopment.Firstly, the thesis does a systematic analysis about Chinese landscape designstrategies of old factory reform into cultural industry park area currently. Secondly, thethesis analyses the textile city art district located in Xi ’an of Shanxi Province andplaces emphasis on analyzing development and change of the time on the vertical axisof Xi ’an textile city art district and the time on the lateral axis of "798" art district inBeijing. In conclusion, landscape building of textile city art district requires absorbingthree aspects, that is, reasonable introduction of tourism planning, skillfully integratedinto the commercial street area and landscape integration into culture elements. Bycomparison these two art districts, this paper summarizes the new landscape designingrequirements and trends of old factory transformation into cultural industrial parklandscape area in our country.
