The Planning And Designing Of The Cultural Industry Park Relying On The Distinctive Culture Of Traditional Settlement In Northern Shaanxi

The traditional settlement in the northern Shaanxi is the birthplace of the originalecological culture, is the reflection, summary and performance of the physical, social,and spiritual aspects of the people living in the settlements. One part is the adaptationand response of the topography and natural climate; while the other part is performingthe abstract and invisible spiritual needs into the certain specific form which would besubstantial, tangible and have direct feelings. Most of the traditional settlement in thenorthern Shaanxi is not only far away from the developed areas, but also hasexperienced a long time of completing and accumulating to obtain the firmness; so theyhave highly lasting appeal of original and the characteristics like simple, true andforthright is retained in a greater degree. However, if the planning and designing of thecultural industry park which is relying on the distinctive culture in northern Shaanxi isgoing to reflect the characteristics and culture in the Northern Shaanxi, it is necessary toclarify the distinguishing feature of the traditional settlement there, carry them on andmake them developing.In the second chapter of the tesis, the image of the traditional settlement innorthern Shaanxi is discussed from the perspective of occupants, writers and researchers.And then in the third chapter, based on the research that the author did in several typicaltraditional settlements in northern Shaanxi, levels of analysis of the traditionalsettlement of northern Shaanxi has been specifically made from the space system(including the overall layout, traffic arranging, node, field), to courtyards, cave-house monomers and local landscape, and the characteristics of each element has beensummarized.The forth Chapter by discussed on the new function implanting in the traditionalsettlement of northern Shaanxi implanted, we learned that the settlements is showing theinherent cultural image, at the same time, partly making adaptive changes to meet thecultural consumption requests of the tourist. In continuation, the author did fieldresearch on The Folk Culture Grand View Garden in Northern Shaanxi and the YuanjiaVillage of Liquan, Xianyang which are both the places mainly to experience thecharacteristics of folk culture, by analyzing and summarizing, the idea that about theplanning and designing of the cultural industry parks, in addition to respect the naturalenvironment, their spatial layout, architectural form and landscape design, should reflectthe heritage of the traditional settlement layout, residential buildings and the lo callandscapes as well as have the innovation and promotion which are based on epochalcharacter and focus on the interaction with the tourists has been proposed.The fifth Chapter is mainly investigated on the planning and design of WenanyiCultural Industry Park in Yan’an. It combined with the previous study, reflected thecharacteristics of traditional settlement in northern Shaanxi from the functional structuredivision of the park, traffic arrangement, architectural design, landscape design, theseaspects, trying to keep the balance between the traditional and the modern, hoping themodern design will be able to respect the local culture and allowing the visitors toexperience the most authentic characteristics and culture on the park and receiving asense of acceptance. In this way, the characteristics and culture in Northern Shaanxicould sink deeply into people’s heart so that it would be able to be spread, popularizedand promoted; besides it could advance the development of local cultural industries.
