Study On Urban Spatial Expansion And Performance In Ankang

Since China implemented its reform and opening up policies,many cities(especially the big cities and the east coastal cities)economic construction maderemarkable achievements by leaps and bounds.Because the economic growth have beenpursued excessively in the precoss of the development and the urban problems havebeen ignored in the course of the urban expansion,urban disease broke out and wasbecoming increasingly fierce when urban extended to a certain scale.Urban disease notonly brought unprecedented difficult problem to the urban constructer and manager,butalso made insufferable truble to residents in the life of the city.In recent years with thedevelopment of west of China being advanced,small and medium cities have risequickly in economic construction fiele in northwest.It will be a pressing and importantsubject about how to develop these urban more reasonable and reduce the occurrence ofurban disease.This paper analyzed the foreign and domestic related research, using comparativeanalysis through five aspects: the urban spatial structure,the urban spatial expansionscale, the urban spatial expansion form, the urban spatial expansion speed and the urbanspatial extending direction, analyzed the change of urban spatial expansion process, anda conclusion that the health of urban spatial expansion characteristic of Ankang inrecent years. Characteristic of urban spatial expansion from two of the relativelyindependent space develop into a massive space area, and many groups of urban spacewere formed. The structure of the urban space got more and more reasonable, and theurban expansion is relatively slow, showing the trend of south extension and west expansion.Through the method of the literature, data and field investigation analyzes thefactor of the urban spatial expansion. It had three influence factors: primary and natureresistance, internal thrust and external power. primary and nature resistance that thelocation reachability constraints, the topography and the river systems hinder, floodsdestroyed; the internal thrust have the economic development strongly driven,population growth is weak promotion, traffic guidance and traffic changes in the way;the external power for the government or policy guidance and planning guidance. Fromthese factors, the strongest force the government or policy guiding force and planningguidance force.According to the urban spatial expansion result, this paper analyzed the mainfactors of the urban spatial structure of performance, economic performance and socialperformance by the comparative analysis. Then using the analytic hierarchy process andthe grey comprehensive evaluation model has a result that Ankang urban specialperformance evaluation.2000to2010the spatial performance overall upward trend, andgrowing relatively fast for Ankang City.Finally, through the urban spatial expansion characteristics and spatial expansioninfluence factors and the spatial performance, giving optimization countermeasures orsuggestions. The paper proposes a reference for urban manager and urban planning, forurban disease reduce or avoid occurrence and let the urban development morereasonable and more humane in the future.
