ZNⅡ-10type capacitor vacuum switch is a patent product designed for switchingcapacitor group, its working principle is through the spring actuator control of vacuuminterrupter turn-on and turn-off to switched capacitor group, and thus compensate the reactivepower of10kV power, meet the power factor requirements. ZNⅡ-10capacitor vacuum switchbelongs to the category of AC high voltage switch, reference for AC high-voltage circuitbreakers technical standards in the design process, but because of the switching capacitance,load switching frequency is very frequent, bad working conditions, in the choice of maintechnical parameters and the switch structure and with its own characteristics. Developmentand design process of ZNⅡ-10capacitor vacuum switch is mainly based on experience byanalogy, correction method, considering only the average closing speed and average openingvelocity, there is no in-depth study to the whole movement process, and the closing bouncingtime exceeds the national standard2ms requirements, so the original product performance andgreat room for improvement. This paper from the speed characteristics, optimization design ofspring operating mechanism for vacuum switch on ZNⅡ-10type capacitor, one can improvethe performance of the existing switch, on the other hand, for a reference to the optimizationdesign method for the future switch modification.First of all, simulate the velocity characteristics of existing products and examine thespeed characteristics of the existing products by UG NX6software. ZNⅡ-10capacitor vacuumswitch spring operating mechanism has never been analysed speed characteristics, aftercomprehensive consideration, use software UG analysis its velocity is very necessary. ThroughUG simulation found that speed characteristics of the original product is not reasonable, justcombined speed and the instant speed numerical slants big, insulation of the spring rod jump onthe cam profile in the closing and opening process.Then, carries on the analysis to the switch parameters, such as closing speed, closingspeed, just opening speed, speed, just contact bouncing time, gate vibration, closing forceetc..Then, on the switch off, closing in mathematical modeling, determine reasonableparameters or its range, and optimize the design according to the mathematical model and thetechnical parameters and technical parameters of contact spring, spring operating mechanism of breaking spring, the main spring, cam profile using MATLAB software. Finally the actualclosing speed characteristics similar to ideal closing speed curve, at the same time the partsrelated dimensions, parameters, quality, the moment of inertia can be confirmed.Finally, velocity and optimization of the original product after, and summary the methodof ZNⅡ-10capacitor optimization design.
