Indoor high voltage vacuum circuit breaker is an important element in power transmissionand distribution system. Its performance is directly related to the stability and reliability of the whole system, so study how to improve the performance of circuit breaker is of important practical significance.Vacuum circuit breaker is accompanied by the development of vacuum technology in major technical breakthrough in recent years, this article first part compares the vacuum circuit breaker with the conventional circuit breaker, and introduces the development of vacuum technology and the development history of vacuum circuit breaker, both at home and abroad and the current industry trends, also proactively prospects the development trend of the vacuum circuit breaker. Then, in the second chapter mainly introduces the part of the vacuum circuit breaker, its key components the structure of the vacuum arc extinguish chamber and vacuum arcing chamber of contact structure, etc. In addition, to enumerate the performance parameters of vacuum circuit breaker and explain their meaning, let the readers have more in-depth knowledge of vacuum circuit breaker.Since this article third chapter tells about the structure of the VS1 vacuum circuit breaker. First introduced the component part of VS1 vacuum circuit breaker:a column, operating mechanism, secondary loop, etc. Introduced a column and the function of the secondary loop, focus on each part of the operating mechanism, and describes in detail its structure. Divided into the energy storage unit, switching transmission unit and break-brake tripping unit were introduced. Then in the fourth chapter is analyzing the operating mechanism of three units, the equivalent mechanical model is established, through the mechanical analysis, chart analysis and so on, expounds operating mechanism of the main points of design, component and verified reasonable. Focus on closing transmission part of four bar linkage analysis, by using the principle of the mechanical knowledge, demonstrate two sets of four bar linkage should be designed to conform to the output characteristics of circuit breaker. VS1 theoretically concluded by the rationality of the design of operating mechanism, through the chart and simple calculation.The fifth chapter the use of virtual prototype and computer simulation technology, validation of VS1 operating mechanism of the motor output. After using the ADAMS software, the mechanism motion analysis provides a great convenience, and save a lot of time, improves the design efficiency, simplify the design work, and got a lot of valuable data through dynamic simulation. At last, by mechanical properties testing instruments of test results to compare the results of the simulation model.
