As dominant machinery in the asphalt pavement construction, the performance of asphaltmixture mixing plant will directly influence the quality and progress of construction project.At present, the batch asphalt mixture mixing plant used most widely in our country, especiallyin high-grade asphalt pavement construction. Unlike continuous asphalt mixture mixing plant,the batch asphalt mixture mixing plant need to configure screening equipment. Nowmulti-layer linear vibrating screen is the most widely used. The study on the vibrating screenat home and abroad is thorough, but largely in the field of ore and coal. And the study isalways aimed at single layer screen or double layer screen whose accuracy of screening is notvery strict. Since there is a deficiency of the research on multi-layer linear vibrating screen,there is not an effective and sound theoretical system. With the continuous development ofhighway construction process, the gradation demand in the construction of asphalt pavementhas become finer for the control points of aggregate. At the same time, as the productionincreasing, the vibrating screen constantly extends length outside, in addition, still continuingextension the width and heightening the height. The existing screening theory and designmethod can’t apply to multi-layer vibrating screen. The design and manufacturer ofmulti-layer vibrating screen in our country mainly depends on analog design or introducingthe foreign vibrating screen technology. The system theory and design method of multi-layervibrating screen has not formed practically, which restricted seriously the productivity,screening efficiency and work reliability of vibrating screen.Relevant parameters of screen mesh, which is the main working parts to completescreening work, have an effect on the screen-penetrating process of fine material, and aremajor factors determines productivity and screening efficiency of vibrating screen. In thisthesis, we put screen mesh of multi-layer vibrating screen which is used in the asphalt mixingequipment as research object. Material’s moving on the screening surface andscreen-penetrating process have been analysed, and the relationship between relevantparameters of screen mesh and productivity, screening efficiency of the multi-layer vibratingscreen has been found out. Based on the above analysis, the mathematical model forparameter optimization of screen and the configuration method of screen aperture have been work out. According to the static analysis and the mathematical model, combined with thesimulation analysis, the relationship between tension, supporting of the screen and tensity hasbeen found out. To increase the tension force or add supporting can improve screen meshtension. If support beams arranged in the same circular arc surface, the contact in betweenevery support beam with screen mesh is close, which can prevent the screen mesh fatiguedamage due to screen mesh pat impact support beam.Based on existing screening theory, the characteristics of multi-layer linear vibratingscreen and process requirement of the batch asphalt mixture mixing plant, the thesis presents amethod of parameter optimization and the configuration method of screen aperture. Based onthe analysis of the relationship between tension, supporting of the screen and tensity, thethesis presents measures to extent screen mesh’s using life. The research results of this thesiscontribute to the perfection of the design theory for vibrating screen which is used in asphaltmixture mixing equipment.
