With the rapid development of economic globalization, more and more enterprises whichcome from different countries and regions add to the global supply chains. Logistics hasbecome an important force to promote the development of the world economy. With thecharacteristics of high efficiency, secure, flexible, low-cost, and realized the seamlessconnection of transportation network eventually, intermodal transport become the main formof the freight transport and is generally used by various countries.Hub in intermodal logistics network is the effective convergence point for varioustransport modes and the special facilities for cargo gathering and distributing、sorting andmerging services, and it plays an important role in the foreign cargo trade. The stand or fall ofthe hub location-allocation problem will have direct influence on the service quality ofintermodal network. Therefore, this paper studies on the hub location-allocation problem inintermodal logistic networks. This paper summarizes the intermodal logistics literature and the overseas and domesticresearch status of hub location problems, analyzes compositions and problems of theintermodal logistic networks. Based on the theory of intermodal logistic networks system, thispaper builds a network modal, in which the nodes represent hubs and the arcs representtransport routes. And applies single allocation P-Hub median problem which came from thedispatch problem in the node layout of traditional transportation network into the hubnetworks design of intermodal transport, then builds a multi-objective optimization modelframework by comprehensive considering the influencing factors in the hub networks, such asthe fixed cost, transportation cost, risk factor and service time requirements and so on, and useLINGO software and combine the small-scale problem to test and verify the modal. Thencombined with the feature of proposed model to design a tabu search algorithm, use thisalgorithm to calculate the small-scale problem and compare the results with LINGO softwareresults to verify the effectiveness and stability of the algorithm. The tabu search algorithm is applied to the randomly generated30candidate hub nodestest case, and using a factorial design to investigate the effect of the fixed cost, inter-hub discount factor, cost ratio, risk requirement on the structure of the intermodal hub network toobtain theoretical basis for network operator to manage intermodal network. Finally, concludethis paper and propose the further research.
