Shutter apparatus is the key part of space camera, its degradation or failure will lead tothe failure of the entire space camera. The shutter apparatus should endure the harsh environ-ment and necessitate working over100million times continuously. Such working conditionrequires the shutter apparatus have superb dynamic capability and long-life reliability. Anaccelerated life test for shutter apparatus had been carried out for acquiring the informationthat mutual affection of main parts and performance degradation of key parts expeditiously inthe preliminary stage of designing. The main contents of this thesis includes how toameliorate the structure of shutter apparatus to augment its performance on the basis ofconclusion of the accelerated life-test and designing life-test to testify the performance of thereliability of ameliorative shutter apparatus.Firstly, this thesis found out the weakness of shutter apparatus by dint of analyzing theresults of the accelerated life-test. Aiming at the problems which were needed to solve gavediverse ameliorative proposals of shutter apparatus and built finite element models of eachproposal respectively. Studied a simplified modeling method about ball bearing which usingspring elements to replace the balls for improving modeling efficiency and calculateconvergence in the modeling process. Then carried out modal and static analysis for eachproposal’s finite element model and chooses the best proposals according to the analysisresults.Secondly, this thesis conducted the ameliorative shutter apparatus with dynamicsanalysis which includes random vibration analysis and harmonic response analysis. Theresults show the capability of the ameliorative apparatus fit the design requirement. Ambientvibration test of shutter is be designed to verify the credibility of dynamics analysis.Lastly, this thesis designs method and process of shutter apparatus’s life test. Therunning process was determined; the life test bed was designed as well. The required testparameters and their collection methods were identified by considering test requirements andmeasurement accuracy comprehensively. Computer detection and speed control system weredesigned in order to achieve the performance data acquisition and shutter device speedcontrol.
