There is no doubt that for quite a long time, the traditional electromagnetic transformer is massively utilized to convert signals for the power system because of its satisfactory reliability, relatively simplified theory and colossal output capacity. Nevertheless, with the development of the power system, hardly can the existing kind of transformer meet the demand of the power system changing with each passing day. Consequently, novel technology in crossed domains, photoelectronic as an example, are gradually adopted in the power system, which give rise to miniaturization intellectualization and digitization of the transformer. As being a critical point to the electronic transformer, the designation and manufacturing of a well-performed data acquisition system is of great importance. This paper design a novel sort of data acquisition system based on FPGA and AD7685as its central procession unit and analog-to-digital transformer, which take part in the collecting, converting, framing and transmission procedure with a sampling rate lOkbps,a bound rate2Mbit/s and ASI as its communication method. That designing the whole digital system by means of FPGA is also a shinning point in this paper, which not only make the designation procedure simplified, so as to bring down the system volume and development cost, enhance the stability of the designs, and avoid the risk of investment, but also beneficial to further expanding, which aims at making it become a muti-channel system which can processing three or more channels at the same time.It is apparently from the tested result that the variation of error is less than0.68%,and average power consumption is around620mw.
