| Photovoltaic power generation technology is a new and high technology utilizingnew energy which draws more and more attention from many countries. At present, themain problem photovoltaic power generation faces is low efficiency, one way to solve theproblem is using the MPPT(maximum power point tracking) in photovoltaic powergeneration process. Due to its own characteristics, Photovoltaic system is often located inremote areas, making it difficult to monitors its real-time parameters, However,photovoltaic parameters is of great significance to the national power scheduling andstatistics. One way to solve this problem is to establish a distant PV monitoring system.This paper focuses on photovoltaic power generation system, research on how to trackmaximum power point, and also research on how to monitor generate electricityparameter distantly according to photovoltaic power generation characteristics. First ofall, the paper proposes an improved MPPT algorithm based on periodic scanning. Theimproved algorithm adopts periodic scanning method, which jumps out of localmaximum value point to trace the maximum power point. The paper sets up experimentto prove the feasibility of the improved MPPT algorithm and the extent of itsperformance optimization. Then the paper designs a distant PV monitoring system basedon B/S (browser and server) architecture which is comprised of the gateway, the websiteand monitoring terminal. Gateway is designed based on Andriod operating system.Website is designed by the framework of ASP.NET, using SQL SERVER database asstorage containers. Website responses authorized user queries, displays real-time data andprovides historical data query. The intelligent mobile phone, tablet PC, and personal PCcan become monitoring terminal. |
