Since the three gorges hydropower station has been fully operational, the deepproblems of the operation gradually highlight. Some critical puzzles are eager to solve.The model of the three gorges-gezhouba cascade hydropower stations daily regulationwhich located in Qianping, Yichang, is the unique platform on regulation of cascadehydropower stations in china. It plays a key role in simulate regulation of threegorges-gezhouba hydropower stations, so that it offers strong support for theirregulations. This thesis is focused on the technology upgrading of the former measuresystem, whose purpose is to improve the level of automation and precision of the formersystem.The measure system includes three parts: three gorges flow control system,hydrological information acquisition system between two dams, flow measurementsystem and water level control system of gezhouba. From the perspective of industrialcontrol, the system has three levels: bottom instrument level, controller of intermediatelevel, upper monitoring level. The core parts of the system are upper monitoring softwareand intermediate controller, which are made of Industrial configuration softwareKingview and siemens s7-200PLC, respectively. Their tasks are monitoring theinstruments and controlling the actuator.Realized the PID control of three gorges flow, after analyzed the results of the PIDcontroller, draw a conclusion about its advantages and disadvantages. In order to acquiremore accurate control system, introduce and design a fuzzy PID controller. Aftersimulating the pure traditional PID controller and fuzzy PID controller, we analyzed theresults and came to a conclusion: fuzzy PID controller is more useful and suitable in theconditions which are more demanding in dynamic performance.
