In order to protect the safety, serviceability and durability of the structure, it is of greatsignificance to perform a structural health monitoring on major projects and infrastructureto improve the safety of the structure and to protect people’s lives and property. Most ofthe health monitoring system been in use nowadays on one hand are customized for aparticular structure, lacking of versatility, while on the other hand little research has beendone in the field of visualization model. After summarizing previous scientific research,we design a set of3D visualized remote health monitoring system independently.Firstly the article summarizes the experience of previous development of remotehealth monitoring systems, as well as areas for improvement. Secondly, a thoroughintroduction to the core technology involved in the system developing process is given,including communication mode in the multi-user system, monitoring data acquisition andtransmission mode, function and interface of chart view and visualized model display.Thirdly it explains the achieved GUI function and demonstrates the effect. Then the articleintroduces the database system and gives the point of view. And lastly, the system is putinto use on two projects to access the feasibility and practicality of it.The design of the project, unlike the general mode in which health monitoring isbased on a particular object, features on a certain degree of universality. The project usescommon TCP network communication protocol to achieve remote monitoring function,which can be adapted to a variety of complex work environment. With regard to themonitoring and early warning function, besides the automatic warning, the system addsartificial regulatory mechanism by setting different login permissions. And embedding thegraphical interface of AutoCAD main window into the program not only reduces thedifficulty of modeling, but also achieves a better3D visualized graphics display.
