Lead ingot continuous casting machine is a large automated metallurgical equipment whichis specially used for general remelting lead ingot continuous casting. Since a long period, thesurface of ingot cast by it has obvious " ripple" phenomenon. while "water ripple" phenomenonaffects the quality and appearance of the product, reduces enterprises’ market competitivenessand production efficiency. Aiming at this problem, this paper proposes and studies a kind ofconstant chain transmission mechanism, it can make the horizontal conveying chain of lead ingotcontinuous casting machine to obtain constant stable conveying speed. And then,it can reduce oreliminate lead ingot surface " ripple" phenomenon, improve the overall quality of products.Therefore, this study has important practical significance.This paper mainly takes constant chain transmission mechanism as the research object.The kinematics model and three-dimensional entity model of constant chain transmissionmechanisms which respectively adopt ideal chain and standard chain are established, and givesa method to calculate the maximum tension in tight side chain of constant chain transmissionmechanism. The main contents of this article are as follows:1. It proposes the design principle of a constant chain transmission mechanism, andestablishes the kinematics model of this mechanism using non-standard chain. It has alsocomputed the cam contour curve of the mechanism, analyzed the motion process, and got thestructural design and three-dimensional solid modeling of the constant chain transmissionmechanism.2. It summarizes the calculation method of tight edge tension which is in ordinary rollerchain and conveying chain of casting machine, analyses the stress state of cam roller which is inthe compact chain of constant chain transmission mechanism using ideal chain, and gives amethod of calculating the maximum tension on tight side chain through a specific example.3. Considering the limitations of constant chain transmission mechanism using non-standardchain in practical application,this paper further analyses, designs a kind of constant chain trans-mission mechanism using standard conveyor chain. The grooved wheel center track of this mec-hanism is analysed and solved. And it further analyses the correction method of grooved wheel center track when considering the structure of connecting rod. On this basis, this paper analysesthe position relationship between four rod pusher-bar mechanism and the roller chain selects in aparticular case. The structure of the mechanism is designed, and establishs its three-dimensionalsolid model by using Pro-E software.
