The shipyard dock is a core resource for the domestic shipbuilding enterprises.Improving the efficiency of the gantry crane and shorten the dock cycle are necessary meansto improve the economic benefit, the production efficiency, and participate the internationalcompetition. Digital dock is an important means to realize the lean shipbuilding. This paperis to realize no allowance erection and position by the study of the digital dock principle andarchitecture and also by the application of the DES file and simulation.With the development of the modern shipbuilding technology, steel processing and hullassembly precision, the welding deformation has been controlled effectively. The influencesof assembling and welding on hull accuracy have already caused the attention and research,while the deformation, which is caused by the ambient temperature, is a mere concern.Using this background information, this article studies the deformation laws which arecaused by the temperature change, and provided a location data for the digital docksimulation.In this article, the deformation laws which are caused by the temperature change wereinvestigated by ways of the theoretical analysis and practical measurements. As a result ofthe research, the basic deformation conclusions were given. On this basis, the digital docksystem application methods were analyzed. Through the introduction of the converted file(DES file) and the simulation, the digital dock construction was given. Lastly, through theintegration of the temperature change on block accuracy and the digital dock system, thedigital dock operation guide book, which is based on the temperature change, laid thefoundation for digital dock was establishment.The main works of the article are as follows:Firstly, using the statistical methods, the segment size distortion, which is caused bythe temperature change, is measured and analyzed and some basic conclusions were given.Secondly, based on the digital dock research, a stereo digital dock architecture wasgiven.Thirdly, the digital dock operation guide book was given which was based on thetemperature change.
