Population aging is an inevitable result of the modern economic society, atpresent.China’s population aging has become more and more serious, it is an agingpopulation country, and family pension burden has increased. Besides China’s elderlypopulation is rising year by year, increasing the burden of providing for the aged. The stateand society are very aware of the social phenomenon, and take active measures. Only singlefamily pension system is far from enough, pension mode suitable for China is to rely onfamily and social old-age pension to bear. Under this kind of social phenomenon, the elderlynursing home, the government and the society need to support nursing homes.This paper based on the social phenomenon, combined with the actual theory andpractice, to analyze nursing home landscape design. The article is divided into four parts,the first part is the purpose and significance of research topics, contents and methods, thethorough investigation and study on domestic and foreign nursing homes, fully understandthe specific materials provides a basis for the later discussion; physiological andpsychological characteristics of the elderly in second parts, according to the study of theelderly on all aspects of environmental landscape needs; the third part introduces thelandscape design as well as the factors, the psychological and physiological nursing homeelderly specific requirements, in-depth discussion on nursing home landscape, next is thecombination of theory to practical case; the fourth part is about details of the design ofHebei Delong "Laolaifu" elderly service center design scheme according to theunderstanding of all aspects of knowledge. Through the above content, summed up thelandscape design is more suitable for the elderly living in nursing homes.
