Along with China’s economic and social development, and social steps to speedup, the increase of demand on travel, transportation, logistics, promote the highwayindustry development. To cope with various industries demand, highway industrymust provide "Safe, Fast, Quick, Comfortable" service, as the industry’s mainbusiness-Maintenance, must be able to do daily maintenance, timely find andprocessing highway diseases.Highway disease is divided into four categories: Pavement Distress roadbeddisease, bridge and tunnel structures, as well as along the facilities. Pavement Distressdifferent types according to the road, their disease type of the same. HighwayDiseases collection is divided into three categories: inspec tion vehicle acquisition,manual collection and handheld terminal detection. The subject adopts a set collection,identification, export in one smart collection terminal to Highway disease acquisition,collection through the terminal from the disease, identification of cracks in the road,export disease information on Excel to reduce human intervention, to deepen the levelof automation of the industry.The subject use Tiny210development board as the terminal hardwaredevelopment environment, onboard S5PV210as the main control chip is responsiblefor the overall control and operations; TFT display as a man-machine interface; theexternal expansion CMOS camera as image acquisition devices, to collect highwaydisease image; SD card used as a terminal storage unit. The development boardsupports a wired network, wireless WIFI support USB, can complete terminal on thenetwork, positioning, data acquisition and processing hardware interface.Terminal use mainstream intelligent mobile phone operating system Androidas software platform, using JXL tools for data import and export, use SQLite tostorage user information and the collected disease information, and use the GPS to getlatitude and longitude, so as to realize the highway disease information collection,storage, export integration. For pavement crack diseases, the terminal using the image recognition algorithmbased on image collected diseases of crack information extraction. First of all to doimage preprocessing, restrain noise interference; Further image segmentation, whichhave special significance for the regional set; The last image feature extraction, thissubject adopts Canny edge detection for image, thus obtaining pavement crackinformation.Project completed the part of the hardware design and software design, usingAndroid simulator, Galaxy Tab tablet computer, terminal hardware prototype forsoftware debugging, the intelligent acquisition terminal collection, identification,storage, export capabilities, so as to complete the highway information acquisitionterminal of the whole design.This intelligent mobile phone operating system Android used as the softwareplatform, the edge detection algorithm introduced highway diseases acquisition,through the image recognition algorithm for pavement crack information recognition,the recognition results to relevant standards. Through this topic research deepeneddisease acquisition of automation degree, and at the same time, the terminal design isboth equipment and mobile phones, and greatly aroused the enthusiasm of theoperator.
