China is a nation of high energy consumption.Energy shortage problem is serious.Especially the high energy consumption of large public buildings has become increasingly prominent.Energy conservation and emission reduction is China's basic national policy.To develop an energy-saving economy,metering plays an important role.Public institutions energy consumption statistics system established by Fujian province consists of field equipment(energy-measuring devices),centralized monitoring layer(centralized energy metering data collection terminal)and remote monitoring layer(energy data platform).The system monitors energy usage by gathering various energy consumption metering data of public institutions.Metering energy consumption data collection terminal designed in this paper(hereinafter referred to as terminal)belongs to the centralized monitoring layer.Based on ARM technology,the terminal builds core control module,communication interface module,HCI module,data storage circuit module and power module.Core module uses Samsung S5PV210 as the core processor and establishes an independent minimum system.The communication interface module primarily supports interfaces RS232,RS485 and network interfaces.Memory module provides SDRAM memory system,Flash memory system,USB interface and SD card interface etc.HCI module uses a 7-inch size LCD screen with touch function.The terminal software module is built on the Windows CE6.0 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008.It chooses SQLite database for data management operations.The terminal database mainly records "energy metering parameter information","energy consumption data","the terminal setting parameters and management information" and so on.The software mainly includes the following contents.1.The terminal performs the operations of reading,analyzing,computing and storing energy metering data.2.The terminal performs the operations of receiving,decoding,executing and returning to executing of the command of the energy data platform.3.The terminal uploads the energy consumption data,which includes uploading data in accordance with the set cycle and receiving read instruction from energy data platform.4.The terminal realizes the functions of energy consumption data query,the graph view and terminal parameter settings through the touch LCD screen.We design a centralized energy metering data collection terminal,which achieves the acquisition,transmission,storage,query and analysis of the building energy consumption metering data of public institutions.Through actual operation,the terminal achieves its intended functions well.The terminal provides reliable data for research on energy usage of public institutions and the follow-up of energy-saving management.It further improves building energy consumption monitoring network and promotes the building energy-saving work of public institutions,which has broad prospects for development.
