As the urbanization policies come on, people pay more attention to the field ofenergy saving and environmental protection.As a result, construction industry has alarge of development. This paper study on a new assembled monolithic frame columnwhich use the high strength spiral stirrups with good continuity, greatly improved thecolumn’s bearing capacity and seismic performance. Using reasonable joint structure,the assembled monolithic structure have been applied to actual engineering, andobtained a good economic benefit.This experiment wrap around the column nodes with steel plate hoop, and then putthe bolt across the holes which reserved in the concrete column and steel plate hoop inorder to ensure that the steel plate hoop and the concrete column have effectiveconstraints. Finally, filled the gaps between the bolt and concrete with grouting material,to ensure that form a whole. This experiment designed two different compression ratioof long columns, two different shear span ratio of short columns and two cast-in-placelong columns to contrast.Due to the effective constraint of steel plate hoop and spiralstirrups, both long columns and short columns showed good seismic performance.In order to achieve the request of economy, this paper use the large-scale generalfinite element software ABAQUS to optimize the assembly column node structure.ABAQUS with its powerful simulation analysis ability can be well simulated in the testspecimens of load and boundary conditions, and get a similar results with experiment. Optimization results first removed the I-bar which welded inside of the steel plate hoop.Reduced the length and thickness of the steel plate hoop of0.6axial compressioncolumn to700mm and3.1mm. Reduced the length and thickness of the steel platehoop of0.2axial compression column to720mm and4mm; Creatively imitated jianyan type loading device and reduced the length and thickness of shear span ratio2steelplate hoop to600mm and3.1mm; Reduced the length and thickness of shear span ratio1.5steel plate hoop to600mm and3mm.Based on the optimized model parts deformation cloud pictures and modelhysteresis curve analysis, considered that node energy dissipation capacity change afterstructure optimizate is not big,and it can meet the seismic performance under the actionof earthquake.Moreover,it have obtained a good economic effect.
