Construction and operation of high-speed railway has a very importantsignificance that are accelerating the development of economy and society in China. Inorder to ensure the safe, high speed and efficient operation of high-speed railway, thehigh standard of engineering quality is the essential requirement of railwayconstruction. However, because of much uncertainty in the railway constructionproject, such as the long period, complexity of companies involved and the hugedifficulty of technology and so on, the serious challenges come to the qualitymanagement. So as to achieve the high quality standard of the project in the conditionof limited resources and time, we must find the risk elements influencing the qualitymanagement and hold the key points of quality control. The risk evaluation of qualityis an active method of controlling the risk. It’s an important way to find the qualityproblems and look for the methods to improve the quality of project.At first, this paper introduces the background and the meaning of this title. It alsopresents the origin of the topic. And then the paper analyses the current researchsituation in this field and sums up the main idea of this article. Research methods aretold in the beginning. Secondly the thesis discusses the definition, types and thecharacteristics of the risk. The normal process of the project quality risk managementand its method and technology are discussed in this part. Thirdly the paper does someresearch in the quality problems and its origin according to the construction practice ofour country’s high-speed railway. As a result of main quality risk elements recognized,the quality risk index system of high-speed railway has been built. The author sets upthe model using the method of BP neural network. At last an empirical study on theconstruction practice of high-speed railway from Zhengzhou to Xuzhou has been doneso as to find the key elements of its quality risk and to give some related advices tocontrol them.
