The Yintao Water Project During1958-1962

This paper,through research the Yintao Water Project in the Gansuprovince during1958-1962under the background of "great leapforward",aimed at inspecting the GanSu local government was how touse all kinds of resources to control and implement of the project.The paper is divided into four parts.The first part mainly introducesthe background of the Yintao Water Project,including Gansu localconditions and the conception during the period of the Republic of Chinaand after the founding of new China.The second part is divided into threeaspects, and account of the preparation and mobilization on the YintaoWater Projectt after the founding of the fifty or sixty’s Gansu local.Including the preparation of the organization on the Yintao Water Projectand the public opinion propaganda and so on.The third part mainlyintroduces the early construction of the Yintao Water Project and leadingto the project because of all the conditions.The fourth part focuses on theanalysis of the reason of the Yintao Water Project.In a word，through the above analysis, the author reproduced therise of the winding and course of failure on the Yintao Water Project inthe Gansu province during the great leap forward, in order to summarizehistorical experience and lessons.
