In recent years, with the development of Chinese society and the expansion ofengineering construction, hoisting and installation project is more and more big, more andmore demand for cranes, crane manufacturers has become the main development object.Taking QY50P truck crane boom system as the research object. Through the analysis ofthe mechanics of boom system, establishment of the basic mechanics model of Crane jibsystem, and use of the ANSYS software, the crane boom system finite element analysis modelis established and proceeded the finite element analysis. Crane jib system of the mechanicalmodel, finite element analysis model and simplified principle have been learned initially, andthrough analyzing them acquire dangerous section position and the form that crane jib systemwill adversely affect the structure. According to the results, the reasonable suggestions can beput forward for crane jib system. On the basis that the general finite element analysis software as platform, parametricideas have been introduced. Using ANSYS own parametric design language APDLaccomplishes secondary development of ANSYS and realizes the parameterization of finiteelement analysis of boom system. To reduce workload and improve the efficiency of analysisin the process of analysis, it is needed to realize encapsulation and interface of boom systemanalysis program of parameterized through the Visual Basic software and realize the call andencapsulation of the finite element analysis software ANSYS, then forming a parameterizedand professional calculation program of crane jib system finite element.Because of the operation encapsulates of all the program ANSYS, user only needs toinput the design variables. The creation of boom analysis model, the finite element parametricanalysis process file and the call of ANSYS calculation are done automatically by theprogram, and the tables of crane load can be calculated and output automatically.
