Ground fracture is one of the geological disasters of city, which seriously endangers thesafety of urban construction project and especially has a powerful role in destructing buildings.Xi’an local procedure has set the minimal required secure distance between the building andground fracture, limit the high-rise residential building land. Therefore, it has somesignificance to change this situation that analyzing ground fracture affects the high-riseresidential building in the ground fracture area.Hu Zhijun has exploratory study the internal forces and deformation of concrete coupledshear wall in ground fracture area. His specific work is analyzing the internal forces anddeformation of an eighteen-layers coupled shear wall at10m and15m of two kinds ofrequired secure distances by elastic method. On this basis, this paper analyzes reinforcedconcrete shear wall structure by elastic-plastic method, detailed study of the structure state ofdifferent layers coupled shear wall at different required secure distances in ground fracturearea, and use the research methods of combining theoretical analysis and finite elementanalysis, further studies the internal forces and fissure condition of the coupled shear wall. This study establishes three models that include six-layers, twelve-layers and twenty-layers structures by the separated finite element model of reinforced concrete coupled shearwall. Based on the ANSYS software, use the support displacement method analog the unevenground subsidence of ground fracture, discuss force field, reinforced stress, concrete stressand cracks of coupled shear wall in the state of different layers, different designed life anddifferent required secure distance. Through the analysis on calculated results, conclude theinternal variation rules of the coupled shear wall in the ground fracture area that is the forceincreases first and then decreases and then reverse increases with decreasing required securedistance. Explore the variation is not directly related to the number of layers, found the weakparts of the structure are both first and second wall and one to four coupling beams.Summarize the sway of the structure will not meet the requirements when the required securedistance less than15m, the most dangerous distance is15m. This paper also discusses themethod to consider ground fracture in the general force design, propose the combinationcoefficients, and also the reinforcement scheme for the existing building. Demonstrate thepossibility of narrowing the minimal required secure distance of the high-rise residentialbuilding in the lip-ward displaced block of ground fracture. The results of this research can provide a reference for the engineering design of coupledshear wall structure in ground fracture area.
