With the continuous expansion of the city, the increasing population,urban trafficproblem is getting worse.Form the point of urban traffic system, the construction ofefficient integrated public transport system is the most effective way to improve urbantraffic conditions. As the subject of public transport in Xi’an, bus has encountered aseries of problems in a period of accelerated development of rail transportation, whichhas seriously hampered the development of urban transport and the problems must beresolved.Firstly sort out Xi’an No.1and2Metro Line Corridor conventional bus networkstatus, traffic conditions and traffic structural condition and analyze the corridorlayout problems, including the concentrated line, the too long length and the singleline network structure; meanwhile, considering the No.1and2Metro opening andoperation,there is some problems, which include regular bus passenger drop, networkcoverage area low in metro uncovered regions and the poor convergence of bus andrail transit. That indicates the need for the conventional public transportation networkadjustment to improve the rationality of the line, adaption to the passenger change andthe good convergence to guide public travel.Then from the aspect of the bus participants interests, study the bus service levels,operational efficiency, economic benefits and social and economic benefits; focusingon the above benefits, selecte benefit indicators and analyze the impactfactors.Ultimately based on factor analysis propose bus network optimizationobjective indicators and the principle of optimization in metro corridor.Based on the above optimization objectives and criteria, discusse the bus networkadjustment precondition and presente the thinking of bus terminals for the controlpoint, hub as the core principle and the minimum transfer amount.Then combiningwith bus passenger OD data, use reserves, cut lines, revoked, altered, sub-operationsand open lines and other methods for line adjustments.Study the bus network optimization and adjustment and evaluation in No.1and2 Metro corridors, in order to measure the effect of bus line ajustments. The resultsshow that bus line adjustments effectively improve the passengers, bus transportefficiency and enterprise economic benifits..Finally from the aspect of the bus integration, the transport facilities construction, busintelligent scheduling and adjusting implementation sequence, propose somesuggestions to ensure implementation of the project..
