Study On The Impact Of Standardization Of Work Site Construction To The Highway Project Quality And Cost

With the highway construction standardization activities in full swing across thecountry, the significance and role of the construction of highway standardization graduallyrevealed, and the quality of highway construction is ensured by more specific specifications,what’s more, a number of quality defects during the process of construction have beeneffectively alleviated.While making gratifying achievements, during the process ofimplementation of the standardization of highway construction, the provinces found andsummarized the critical problems which impact the in-depth development aboutconstruction standardization activities, namely the impact of highway constructionstandardization on the quality and cost of road construction and the magnitude of theimpact.How to analyze and estimate the degree of influence construction standardization onthe costs of highway construction has become a urge problem to be solved during theoverall development of highway construction standardization while the constructionstandardization improving engineering quality.The paper systematically summarizes the characteristics, the composition and theimplementation of the highway construction standardization management system, thusleading to the focus of this study-construction standardization, and elaborates the specificimplementation contents of construction standardization. And with the above contents as thetheory basis, and combined with the construction site research and relative data collection,the paper makes a qualitative analysis and quantitative description of the impact of theconstruction standardization implementation on highway project quality.In the aspect of theimpact on highway project costs, the paper uses a gray relational analysis method, analyzingand comparing the impact of each cost component on all-in cost before and after theconstruction standardization implementation, and uses correlational analysis method toanalyze the influence factors of construction costs, in addition, the paper uses independentsample T test method to compare the proportion of the construction costs above the totalinvestment before and after the construction standardization implementation.By studying the highway project quality and costs under the influence of constructionstandardization implementation, the paper gives the management focus on construction costs after implementing the construction standardization, and put forward quantitativeindex about the impact of construction standardization implementation on highway projectcosts which provides cost management basis to the new highway construction underconstruction standardization implementation, and provides the minimum price theoreticalfoundation to the engineering project bidding under construction standardizationimplementation. Therefore, it has a great significance to the promotion of the developmentof the highway project cost management in the new era.
