The porosity of drainage pavement is about20%,with the advantage of draining quicklyon rainy days, excellent skid resistance, low road noise and environmental benefits, drainagepavement better meets the needs of contemporary traffic for comfort, safety, environmentalprotection requirements. However, the drainage asphalt pavement technology development inChina has been restricted by the dependentment on foreign imports of high viscosity modifiermaterial,which has constrainted the promotion and application of this type of pavement.Tosolve this problem, the article uses two kinds of domestic TPS materials in order to get goodperformance drainage asphalt pavement with lower cost.This paper analyzes the raw materials requirements of the special drainage pavementstructure and environment;experiments on domestic TPS modified asphalt, and compares theperfomence with TPS imported from Japan, depending on this,puts forwards reasonable TPSmaterials doped amount; drawing on existing drainage asphalt mixture grading range,determines the optimum asphalt content by analyzing the result of leak test and flying test incombination with the Marshall test;tests the road performance of domestic TPS drainageasphalt mixture, analyzes the effect of the void fractionroad on road performance, andcompares the road performance and economic costs with Japan TPS drainage asphaltmixture,discusses the mechanism of action of the TPS modifier, recommends the reasonableconstruction temperature of the three TPS drainage asphalt mixture;analyzes the social andenvironmental benefits of domestic TPS drainage asphalt pavement.The results show that the two domestic TPS drainage asphalt mixture have goodcapability to resist high temperature deformation, good water stability, low temperaturestiffness modulus,good aging resistance at the same time, B-type TPS drainage asphaltmixture is better than C-type in road performance.In comparison with Japan TPS drainageasphalt mixture, domestic TPS mixture have similar road performance and cheaper cost,so itcan replace similar foreign products for drainage asphalt pavement.
