With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards, self-health awareness hasbeen enhanced and the concept of prevention-oriented has gained widely recognition. Under thebackground of the rapid development of technology at home and abroad,home medical care hasbegun to enter into the daily lives of people gradually, which has been also developed fromsingle-function to multi-function. Compared with the traditional hospital medical monitoringequipment, home medical monitoring equipment has many advantages such as feature-rich,powerful, compact, easy to operate and carry and so on. which has been accepted by more andmore people and lead the development trend of the medical care device.This dissertation presents a program about home medical monitoring system based on aTablet PC, which to implement the development of real-time monitoring system for humanphysiological parameters. The embedded operating system Windows CE is a compact, efficient,scalable, multi-threaded, multi-tasking, and fully preemptive kernel extensible operating system.which suitable for a variety of resource-limited embedded products and systems. The monitoringsystem uses the Tablet PC which based on Windows CE OS as its master system, andcommunicates with the monitoring equipment with USB interface for data transmission. TheUSB bus interface has many advantages such as standard uniform, plug-and-play, high-speedtransmission, as well as the characteristics of the support topology, which has been used in alarge number of electronic devices and become the trend of the standard interface. Applicationprogram of system will filtering process and storage the collected data of human ECG, oxygensaturation, respiration, body temperature, blood pressure and other physiological parameterswhich also analysis and display the waveform of ECG, blood pressure and other physiologicalparameters.The human-computer interaction can be implemented used with the LCD touchscreenof the Tablet PC,which to achieve the effect of real-time monitoring of physiological parameters.
