In the process of operation at sea, whether in Hou-Park, sheltering from the wind, quarantine, orloading and unloading operations on anchorage, ship is required to carry out the anchor job. Duringanchoring, the occurring of anchor sticking will seriously affect the safety of the ship, and thephenomenon of anchor impacting on the hull or bulbous bow will cause damage to the hull. Therefore,to ensure the safety of the ship’s operation, as an important part of the ship, the security and reliability ofthe ship mooring system can not be ignored. At present, domestic shipbuilding enterprises, in the design of the ship mooring, mostly rely on the designer’s experience and knowledge, and then design a certainproportion of wood mold model according to design scheme to conduct lugging andtlugging and towing anchor test, then revise the positions and shapes of hawse pipe andanchor lip based on test results, and repeat the test to ensure that the real ship mooringsystem works properly. However, each time the design results have been adjust, thewooden mold must be re-produced, which not only takes a lot of manpower and resources, but also probably requires a long test period to achieve the requirements of shipowners andclassification societies. In this paper, the stem mooring system of49000DWT oil product carrier was designed based onthe platform of SolidWorks. Through geometric analysis, the cause of the anchor sticking phenomenonwas studied. By using3D software SolidWorks, the bow, anchor, anchor chain and hawse pipe weremodeled. Then the lugging and tlugging and towing anchor test was realized with the aid ofmotion module in SolidWorks, thereby the reasonableness of the design was verified, which providedsome basis for the shipyard doing lugging and tlugging and towing anchor test.By carrying out an lugging and towing anchor simulation experiment on the ship andSolidWorks secondary development with VC6.0programming language, a modulespecifically used in the lugging and towing anchor test was developed, which is in the formof plug-ins embedded in SolidWorks, and can realize the parametric design on thecomponents and parts through the parameter modification and SolidWorks configurationmanagement. At the same time, the model database was established with the aid of theAccess database system, which could realize the functions of query, output, modify onrelevant data parameter, and provides some guidance for the development of the same type products.
