Mooring system is a very important component of ship equipments. The mooring system works while ship parking or loading and unloading. However, some problems will happen to the ship when the mooring system working, such as collision between the anchor and hull, the anchor stuck by the hawse pipe and the flukes can't close to the anchor's platform. These problems will seriously affect the safety and operation of the ship. In order to avoid the occurrence of these problems. Most of the shipyard are using the wooden anchor model testing to test the safety of the mooring system after the mooring system designed. However, the wooden anchor model testing have many disadvantages, such as higher carpentry skills, a large working area, modified model after each failed test and so on, which will lead to a huge cost of manpower and material resources and a longer cycle. Meanwhile, There are some limitations in the wooden anchor test, such as the friction is different between steel and wood, the real the center of mass is different from steel and wood, the traditional wooden anchor test is not considering the actual ship operations such as wind, wave and flow of load and so on. o the traditional wooden anchor test and the actual situation is different.In the study, using the computer simulation technology, considering the wind, wave and flow, mooring ropes and fender and other factors on the anchoring operation, is to achieve the computer simulation of anchor test. Firstly, using the secondary development of the SolidWorks to achieve the parametric design of the 76000 DWT bulk carrier's anchor system model;Then using AQWA calculate the ship motion under the influence of wind, wave and flow, and the result is loaded into the anchor test simulation, in SolidWorks motion module to realize the anchor test simulation;Finally, advances the design scheme of anchor operation simulation based on the secondary development of Solidworks.In order to achieve target of economically, shorten test cycle and simulation test is more close to reality.
