Research On The Conservation Designing Of The Cultural Landscape Of Historic District

The historical blocks are history venation of the development of city，village and small town which reflect local history culture and historical heritage, providing material and immaterial environment for the studies of history in later generations. Along with the protection of the historical building around the world, the protection of the historical block is spreading. With the development of urbanization, it is aware of the importance for village and small town the protection of landscape culture of the historical block and taking action on protecting and restoring it in all regions. Nevertheless most regions in our country only pay attention to single historical architecture or material heritage but constrain the protection of landscape culture of the blocks in village and small town in the end.This thesis is attempt to integrate the cultural and environmental concept into the protection and designs of cultural landscape of village and small town’s historical block to make better exhibit of its residential culture. It is to be protected both material and immaterial culture that history remains which protrude the harmony between humanity cultural and ecological landscape and mankind and also society.In total there are seven chapters: the first part describes the purpose, significance and range of the study on protection and designs of cultural landscape of the historical blocks in village and small town, the necessity of protection and development, frame of the thesis. In the second part, the concept and theoretical basis are summarized, and analyses the theoretical basis of the protection of landscape culture in village historical block. The third part is mainly focus on the review of the domestic and foreign history and reseach condition of the protection of landscape culture in village and small town historical block, concluding the main trend in the days to come and analyzing the underlying problems and causes of it which provide solid theoretical basis for its protection and designing of its developing system. As a major component of the whole thesis the forth chapter frames the modern village historical district cultural landscape protection and designing system, and lays out details respectively on cultural and environmental concept and its constructive stage and on the protection and restoration of landscape architecture of historical block, offering methods and accordings for the analysis and design of practical cases in the following text. In the fifth part there are two cases studies, the broad and narrow alley in Chengdu of Sichuan and the historical and cultural Lane East of Zhengyang Street in Guilin City, in which proof the design method that presented in this thesis.In the sixth part, it is proposed a feasible project to carry out construction on culture and environment conceptual design of cultural landscape in historical block through the case of Dongshi Town’s The Old Centre Stree in Zhijiang City. Finally the last part is the whole conclusion and the expectation in the field.
