Radiator inlet tank is an important component of the automotive radiator, which isinfluenced by cooling liquid heat load, mechanical vibration and so forth in a relativelybad working environment in the normal work process. If there is a break or otherproblems in radiator inlet tank during the normal working process, it will directly affectthe performance of the radiator and the entire automotive cooling system to workproperly, and then the normal operation of the vehicle. Therefore, it is necessary toanalyze radiator inlet tank by means of simulation so that it can meet the requirementsof normal use. The analysis of the radiator inlet tank will involve the calculation ofmultiple disciplines, such as fluid mechanics and heat transfer, which is the practice ofmulti-physical field coupling simulation analysis and has a certain guiding significanceand practical value. This paper, based on a three-dimensional model of the radiator which have blindsopen belt type radiator parts the external structure of basic dimensions to establish andis provided by a certain car manufacturers, analyze the cooling liquid flow field, coolingliquid and inlet tank inflow of conjugate heat transfer and the radiator inlet tank stress ofcoupled thermal and vibration. The main contents and conclusions are as follows:①It provides theoretical basis for the flow field analysis model and the selectionof physical field coupling analysis method, which laid a foundation for numericalanalysis by introducing the analysis of numerical simulation of computational fluiddynamics, heat transfer and relevant basic knowledge and physical field couplingnumerical analysis method.②The conjugate heat transfer between the coolant and the radiator structureanalysis model is established by CFX, which is based on a three-dimensional model inUG. The flow state in the cooling liquid in the radiator and the heat transfer processfrom the cooling liquid to the radiator inlet tank is analyzed, and the radiator inlet tanktemperature field distribution is obtained.③The radiator inlet tank coupled thermal and further combining with thevibration stress analysis model is established by using the result of CFX software toanalyze the temperature field distribution as a temperature boundary, combining with the LS-DYNA software. The stress distribution in the radiator inlet tank is analyzed, andthe influence of the stress distribution on the radiator inlet tank is briefly evaluated.
