Research Of Linpan Settlement Optimal Planning Based On Greenway Construction

Linpan is an indispensable part of ecosystem in the Chengdu plain. It combines production, people’s livelihood and landscape into the regional rural settlement landscape space. With fast urbanization and land consolidation in Chengdu, rural suffered unprecedented damage, the traditional Linpan settlements are disappearing rapidly. In this circumstance, we are faced with this problem, which is how to protect Linpan with modern production, lifestyle and industry economic. Greenway brings new vigor and vitality into the declining Linpan settlements around the Greenway. It provide a novel direction for the sustainable development of Greenway and Linpan protection in Chengdu.Based on the research and analysis of traditional Linpan settlements and Greenway, This dissertation explored the application feasibility of Greenway planning in Linpan settlements optimization, and put forward the main contents, method and the key problems. The optimization of Linpan in Jiang’an river was studied as an application example. The main conclusions are as following:(1) The current protection planning of Linpan settlements is mainly concentrated in the renovation of a single Linpan plaque, the choice of Linpan plaques was not considered from the point of Linpan settlements scale comprehensively and systematically. This resulted in that Linpan plaques were isolated form settlements after renovation.(2) The landscape ecology theory is applied in both Linpan optimization and greenway construction. The purpose of Linpan planning and greenway construction is to protect the ecosystem of Chengdu Plain, improve the quality of life and promote economic development. So greenway is a form of corridor in Linpan.(3) Linpan settlements’characteristics should be analyzed first. Linpan system, tourism, industry and infrastructures are included in planning. The key issues which include the selection of patches, the line of greenway and the plan of infrastructure need to be solved. The patches should be based on spatial distribution, landscape patterns, industrial development of Linpan system. The service radius of greenway should be referred to select the patches. Lines of greenway are based on settlement road corridor, and optimize the road network to improve the quality of corridor. The principle of shared is applied to build the infrastructure of Linpan and greenway.(4) Linpan which were development of improved and characteristics was well studied. Linpan patches were affected by Jiangan river and Liaojia town, showing a beaded and network distribution. According to industry and tourism, Linpan patches and roads were selected and optimized to build a landscape spatial pattern.
