In the21st century, we are facing a serious situation of shortage of fossil fuelsand environmental pollution. The renewable energy is becoming an important factoron the human society’s development. One of the solution is solar energy, which isinexhaustible, renewable and zero-emission. Therefore, the utilization of solar energyis one of the best solutions to us. Solar photovoltaic (PV) power generation is not onlya kind of zero-emission, but also can provide endless applications. The solar PV hasbecoming one of the major focus in the development of the world’s renewable energy.The research and calculation on the solar photovoltaic energy conversion model is ofgreat importance for studying the solar photovoltaic power generation system, makingthe correct decision, choosing the best options, minimizing price, and generatingmaximum economical benefits.In this thesis, the design was mainly focused on the utilization of ARMs andZigbee microprocessor. The resistive characteristics of the MOS chip was chosen tobe the main measurement circuit. The variable loads for the measurement circuit wassimulated with C language. The ADC module of CC2530chip was used to acquire theoutput voltage and current of the PV cell. Finally, the I-V signal was compiled withEclipse software (with Java) and the data was translated into10-based numbers(which were easy to read and understand). The real-time or in-situ interface wasdeveloped to provide the curve of I-V feature for the PV cell based on the processeddata in EXCEL table.In this thesis, the accuracy of the I-V curves, cost, and the adaptability of variousindexes was discussed. The design used a single bus DS18B20, which made itworking at12bit module to measure temperature. An electronic humidity sensor wasused to measure humidity, where the capacitance would be changed with the humidity.The change of capacitance could lead to the change of frequency, which was capturedby the timers of CC2530chip.Through some formulas and calculation, we can obtain the measured humidityvalues. With PMA1114sun radiation detector and the revised circuit we designed, wecan acquire the sunshine intensity of working environment.
