The Research On The Chromatology’s Application In The Planning And Design Of University Campus Landscape

With China’s higher education enrollment expanding. Higher education progressiverealization of the popular since1999and students have been expanding more and more. Inthis situation, many universities are faced some new problems, such as expansion、renovation.The environmental quality of campus was concerned and landscape construction is especiallyimportant because of People’s demand of campus landscape in spirit level increasingly. Butthere are many problems in current campus environmental design, especially in color design.Color as an important part of college campus environment quality, it has a crucial role toalleviate physical and mental fatigue for teachers and students. Therefore, the paper attemptsto use the application of science of color landscape to improve the quality of campuslandscape, change the campus landscape disorderly、 messy color composition. Let thecampus color become its new "card".First, we regard "University Campus" as carrier in this paper, analysing the situation inthe point of color. Second, through the research of relation which between color theory andcampus landscape, so as to change the situation of campus landscape which color dull、poorrecognition and lack of personality. At last, we make a preliminary study in how to conductcolor planning in campus major function area.In this paper, we use the method of classification and summarization, take Dalianuniversity campus landscape planning and design as examples, combining text and pictures,analyse the impact of natural and cultural environment on campus landscape color, discuss theregional characteristics、function characteristics、overall coordination of the surroundingenvironment, etc. Aim to make color planning integration into the design of the campuslandscape effective and play a role in protection of local culture、keep regional features andbuild a good campus landscape. We use the method of psychology of environmental behaviorto make a survey for campus users, understand people’s perception of the campus and thecampus landscape color on people’s psychological and behavior problems. Research Campus color landscape design principles and the method has a practicalsignificance. For example, coordinate local environment of color, improve campusenvironmental quality of the visual landscape. Finally, providing some usefulcountermeasures and reference for construction of modern campus landscape. This is also thepractical significance of this paper.
