In recent years, the research and development of high-resolution imaging sonar hasbecome an important issue in many countries. At present, there are mainly two kinds ofhigh-resolution imaging sonar: One is imaging sonar that using electronic circuits forbeam-forming, the other is lens imaging sonar that using acoustic lenses for beam-forming.Based on the principle of the lens imaging sonar, this thesis completed part of hardwarecircuit and software design for the lens imaging sonar.Firstly, this paper briefly introduces the background and significance of this issue, thedevelopment status of imaging sonar at home and abroad, and the basic principle of acousticlenses beam-forming.Then, this paper describes the design of the overall hardware circuit system of the lensimaging sonar, focuses on the transmitter system and analog conditioning circuit design. Thedesign of transmitter system includes the design of the signal source circuit, the design ofpower amplifier circuit, the design of matching circuit and protection circuit. The analogconditioning circuit design is mainly based on the characteristics of the echo signal, designingthe magnification and the pass-band to amplify and filter the echo signal.According to the requirements of the lens imaging sonar system, this paper completes theFPGA software design of the control board, mainly including the design of parallel porttransmission module to the transmitter, the design of LVDS transmission module to the dataacquisition board, the design of FIFO data caching module, and the design of serialcommunication module and network communication module to the host computer. Thecontrol board mainly completes data transmission between the various modules, and controlsworking state of the lens imaging sonar system.Finally, this paper describes the joint debugging of the hardware circuit system, mainlydebugging the control board with the four data acquisition board and analog conditioningboard, as well as data transmission with the host computer.
