A Study On Municipal Wireless Network Construction Project Implementation In Kunming

Municipal wireless city is not only a basic infrastructure of a modern and informational city, but also an important symbol reflects the level of modernization, the operating efficiency of the municipal administration, the level of information technology and the level of competition of the city. Along with the development of technique, construction mode, operation mode, industrial chain, application in wireless communication, a new wave of the construction of municipal wireless network is coming all around the world.In this situation, the government of Kunming has proposed the idea that building a municipal wireless network in Kunming. During the construction of municipal wireless network in Kunming, the China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile take responsible for specific construction work, and the government of Kunming takes responsible for macro layout, overall planning, coordination of resources, unified management, industry guidance and policy support.From the perspective of project management, this paper conducts an in-depth discussion on all the aspects and issues of constructing municipal wireless network in Kunming, taking the specific operational procedures of China Telecom Kunming Branch for example. According to the application characteristics of the construction of municipal wireless network, taking specific implementation of construction projects for example, this thesis analyses emphatically how to plan a project and illustrates the WBS, Gantt chart, and provides quality control strategy of municipal wireless network construction of Kunming by applying the project management, quality control theory. The purpose of this article is to guarantee the quality of municipal wireless network construction project by eliminating various unfavorable factors.
