With the continuous improvement of China’s economic strength, building vertical shape,layout forward complex, differentiated direction, as Beijing CCTV Tower, Beijing Bird’sNest, etc. Appearance of the building complex structures often lead to a sharp cantilever,vertical irregular or plane irregular out of specification clauses limit. In the above case, oftenthrough computer analysis of structures under ground motion response index, in order todetermine the structure safe or not. However, even the most popular PERFROM3D fulldynamic elasto-plastic time history analysis of fiber model accuracy, precision can only bejudged based on the experience of engineers. According to today’s techniques, reaction modaland dynamic response of ground motion is the most reliable method of reduced scale shakingtable model test results to verify the correctness of computer analysis.The project-Harbour Plaza Hotel: Located in Jiang Men, building height of107.45m, atotal of29floors, six-story podium chassis, seven layers begin narrowing the verticallongitudinal layer by layer. Structure contains: Concrete Inclined Column conversion layer,davit, floor wide open hole, horizontal3.8m wide flat beams, steel reinforced concretecolumns, beams, shear walls and so on. For the complexity of the structure, need to scalemodel shaking table test to analyze the structure of the ground motion response to guideengineering design.The first chapter is an introduction article to introduce the basic theory of shaking tabletest; second chapter is similar to shaking table test model design theory, a detaileddescription of the production process and test preparation; Chapter III test results andanalysis; Section four are the experimental findings to guide the engineering design. Thisarticle highlights details shaker design and manufacturing process for the future shaking tabletests provide technical support.
