Construction Technology And Management Of The Steel Structure Project In An Elevated Station In Guangzhou Metro

Guangzhou metro which acts as the forerunner and bellwether of the rail transitconstruction in China is known as the “Huangpu Military Academy of rail transit constructionin China” due to its advanced scientific management. Building a world-class metro hasalways been the biggest pursuit of Guangzhou metro. At present, the Guangzhou metro hasopened eight lines, with a total of236kilometers, and the wire net has covered every districts.The Elevated railway station of Guangzhou metro is constructed in main forms of steelstructure. Rich experience has accumulated in this steel structure project implemented for theelevated station, which has been applied in several dozen stations in several lines. In the steelstructure engineering, construction site is the final place that building products form, and inthe whole construction process, quality management is the core of the whole constructionprocess. Because the buildings of subway station have the characters of large scale,diversification, particularity and complexity lead to the attendant method of constructionmanagement also has its particularity and complexity.In this paper, the author combines with his technology and management experience of aproject of elevated station construction, and takes this project as an example to analyze thekey points and difficult points of each steps in the steel structure of elevated subway stationconstruction to clarify all kinds of measures should be taken, analyze all kinds of engineeringspeciality in short time limit, the professional cross construction, the protection forconstruction of rail line area, complete the construction organization and constructionmanagement countermeasures, and discuss the installation of steel structure in constructionprocess. This paper summarizing the construction methods and measures has a certainreference value for elevated subway station construction.
