The Application Of The Virtual Project Management In Guangzhou New Railway Station Project

The management of construction project in China has made remarkable achievements, but in lack of scientificity. As China's socialist market economic system has been roughly fromed, the scale of construction projects becomes more magnificent, technology becomes more complicated, which put forward many new requirements to the management of construction projects. The traditional project management model formed under the planned economy system, which raises many issues under the new economic environment and does not conform to the characteristics of construction products. This is the fundamental reason why widespread construction enterprises in China had received low profits, low efficiency, large range of defalcation, and low management levels.Based on virtual project management theory and its internal and external conditions, in-depth understanding and exploration of the practical significance of project management in Guangzhou New Railway Station projects. Meanwhile, how to constitute and select a cooperative partnership, the successful facts of virtual project management and its advantages of cooperation, also, the organizational framework for virtual items and its relationship to internal and external environment, as well as, the quality, progress and cost control of the virtual project, at the same time, the information management and incentive mechanisms of the virtual project management. This article will do some study on these issues.This article analyzes the successful application of the virtual project management in Guangzhou New Railway Station project, pointing out that virtual project management is the inevitable choice for Chinese enterprises to go abroad. Meanwhile, this article indicates some of the features and implementation strategy of virtual project management, analyzing on how to adapt to internal and external environment under the virtual enterprise project management system, also, helping enterprise to enhance competitiveness and strengthen internal management under the condition of limited resources.
