Aircraft maintenance has always been the airlines’indispensable structural business, which ensures the aircrafts safe and effective operation. In recent years, Chinese aviation market competition has become increasingly fierce, attributes to the economic growth slowing down globally and domestically, oil price remained rising and other pubic transportation industries constant impact. Most of the domestic airlines have to struggle to continue the business under the pressure above while profit margin is getting small in such a market. In the other hand, aircraft maintenance cost remains high, it accounts for20%-25%of total operating cost according to industry statistics, this level may even gets higher for aged aircrafts. In a long period, the expenditure in aircraft maintenance takes a big share in the airlines total operating cost and becomes an element suppresses the companies’profit earning.Therefore, most of the airlines not only consider how to decrease the aircraft maintenance cost and enlarge the airlines profit margin through improving the efficiency of aircraft maintenance, also strive to actively advances the aircraft maintenance’s marketing and industrialization, explore the production potential upon providing the parent company’s fleet good maintenance service.To increase the additional profit for parent company and transform aircraft maintenance the role of a cost unit ever to a profit unit, it’s necessary to develop the customer’s fleet maintenance business. But, many airlines seem to have no enough experience to control and manage this brand new business process effectively.This work intends to research and analyze the customer’s aircraft maintenance business process operated by Y airlines and spot the process issues, make the corrective solution subsequently. Aim to improve the operating efficiency and performance by integrating the company’s resource focus on the subject process.
