With the rapid development of economic in society, there are more and more tall buildings constructed in the cities. The clean of the glass curtain wall is a task with a lot of trouble and danger. The traditional artificial mean of clean costs o lot and efficiency of it is very low. What’s more, the work is full of danger. At present, some countries and districts make laws to forbid that clean the glass curtain wall over the fourth floor with the artificial mean. With the development and innovation of the mechanical technique, it brings a new thought of cleaning the glass curtain wall. Window-cleaning equipment machine had come out in time. It has solved the problem of the clean of the glass curtain wall in tall buildings.The fixed window-cleaning equipment machine is one of the common window-cleaning equipments. And the mast of the fixed window-cleaning equipment is very important. It’s structure is complex, and the mean of the ordinary mechanics of materials can’t accomplish the analysis of its deformation and stress. In this paper, we will perform an analysis of the fixed window-cleaning equipment, and try to obtain the result of its deformation and stress. Then, the result can provide some data for the design and improvement of the window-cleaning equipment.In this paper, it firstly states the mean of the design of the fixed window-cleaning equipment by the numbers. And then it introduces every part of the fixed window-cleaning equipment, like mast, main boom, dovetail arm and so on. The part of the fixed window-cleaning equipment can satisfy the need in the work and the government standard.Secondly, the solid model will be built in the3D design software, Solidworks2008.Thirdly, we will check the strength and stiffness of the fixed window-cleaning equipment in the ANSYS. And we will make an analysis of it with structural static mechanics. In this way, it has the ability to avoid the accident in the tall buildings.At last, the mast of the fixed window-cleaning equipment will be optimal designed. In this way, we try to relieve the weight of the machine, reduce costs and promote the window-cleaning equipment and popularization for it.
