In the last decades, there are more and more high-rise buildings in the city. At present, the window-cleaning in high-rise buildings is primarily finished by the cleaners taking nace-lle or tying rope. The traditional manual cleaning is very dangerous and inefficient, however, it costs too much. At present, some research institutes have designed and made some window-cleaning machines to replace manual forces to clean high-rise buildings, thus greatly pushed forward the development of cleaning-industry, yet it has not been popularized.Actually the reason of the main issues is that the volume, weight,practicality and maufacturing cost of the robots restricted the development of cleaning robots.With the rapid development of scientific and technological level,the demand for intellig-ent cleaning system is increasingly high. The important position of Intelligent cleaning equip-ment is becoming increasingly prominent in everyday life. The automation-degree and cost requirements of intelligent cleaning system is constantly increasing. Currently, cleaning equipment in the smart home can not meet the demand of more and more advanced everyday life. It has become inevitable development trend on cleaning equipment in the smart home, which is the miniaturization,lightweight,non-polluting,low-cost,excellent practicality, stability controlled.Aiming at the demand of civil-window cleaning,the author of this thesis developed a lightweight Window-Automatic-Cleaning robot for civilization used, which is different from other mechanism only with one-way operating function.It reduced the risk of operation and the complexity of the installation procedure. It has not only higher cleaning quality and operation efficiency,but also higher performance in energy conservation and environmental protection.It adopts the wireless-control mode for the sake of the user’s convenience, which not only improves the cost performance of Window-Automatic-Cleaning robots and reduces the costs, but it also takes into consideration the quality of these robots and the optimization of stability.In this thesis,at first,research condition of this cleaning-robot is introduced.And then,it lays out the purpose and importance of this subject.After introducing this cleaning-robot’s running-Process and running-principle,all the program design (Include the design of the struc -ture, the choice of the components) and the Control system(51Single-chip control system, and TC9012infrared emission),the key technology that this Window-Automatic-Cleaning robot faced is listed and the methods of solve these problems are expounded. The develop-ment and test process of the washing-robot’s prototype was recommended at the end of this paper,also make outlook on the future-development on the Window-Automatic-Cleaning equipment at the same time.The achievement of this thesis:Based on the control theory of the51single-chip, a Window-Automatic-Cleaning robot and the control system has been developed, include the structural design of the robot, the control system design and the introduction of the prototype’s working process. The experiments demonstrated that that the robot can be extended to the field of home and building cleaning due to the simple structure,robust control and good clearning performance.
