| In the area of nondestructive testing pipeline crawler has the ability to replace the man-made to have the nondestructive testing for the pipeline’s inside and outside surface that can reach the place is beyond person can reach. Besides, pipeline crawler can decrease the radiation hazards which is caused by radiographic inspection, increase the working efficiency and inspection accuracy. The ultrasonic C scanning equipment is the designing prerequisite for this report. To achieve the designing and implementation, the system is based on LEGO NXT2.0platform.Under the electric automatic advanced professional know-how instruction, for the purpose to reach high efficiency, automatic pipeline ultrasonic inspection crawler, this system use the electrical technology such as LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT2.0software programming platform, servo motor, power, limit switch and coder. Also, to combine the several structure designing like gear, lead screw, magnetic wheel, triangle belt together, finally, different types of ultrasonic inspection equipments are well compatible with this system. The function of this system is to achieve the automation for the pipeline ultrasonic inspection, increase the testing efficiency as well as the accuracy. The nondestructive testing personnel can be relieved from the damaged and poison working condition fatherly. In macroscopic view, it optimize the enterprise. The whole system including:crawler operation software, Ultrasonic coupling water machine, crawler body as well as the probe scanning device. Through the crawler application, it reduce the output of the personnel, reduce the hazard and increase the testing efficiency. It guarantees the nondestructive area accurately and efficiently.Furthermore, it increase the competition in the nondestructive testing enterprise.The evidence proves that the pipeline crawler designing has the advantage of high efficiency, accuracy and stability. It can satisfy the designing target and requirement. |
