For the continuous progress of the machining technology, servo feed system was put forward for higher requirements. The traditional rotary motor and ball screw servo feed system unable to meet the high-speed, high-precision processing technology requirements. Direct drive technology of Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM) has the advantages of high speed, high precision, fast response and a large stroke, it has been widely used in high-speed, high-precision machining equipment.Due to the the intermediate transmission device of the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor direct drive system been canceled, or the so-called "Zero Transmission", no intermediate buffer link, it makes the permanent magnet linear motor parameter perturbation and external disturbance more sensitive, thus the control is more difficult. Traditional permanent magnet linear synchronous motor direct drive system often use a mechanical position sensor, it makes the manufacturing difficulty and manufacturing cost increase,and difficult to maintain, and sometimes some special occasions are not allowed to use mechanical position sensors. Therefore, the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor direct drive system without position sensor become a hot research topic today. How to fast and accurate acquire to the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor speed and position information is the key to achieve without position sensor control. Therefore, how to quickly and accurately obtain permanent magnet linear synchronous motor speed and position information is discussed in this paper.The classification, structure and principles of the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor is first discussed in this paper; The coordinate system of the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor coordinate vector transformation was analyzed and a mathematical model under the d-q coordinate system is also build. Secondly, this paper analyzes the vector control basic principle of space vector pulse width modulation technology, and the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor vector control system model with mechanical position sensor is build; according to the vector control system based on soft position detection algorithmthe open-loop comparison experiments. Then, each speed segment the soft position detection algorithm and its complex algorithm analysis compared in the system, the extended Kalman filter algorithm based on the Resistance Identification was proposed and coordination of multi-objective optimization algorithm is used to optimize its system noise matrix and measurement noisematrix and then the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor at full speed within the soft position detection system model was built, and the model was simulated; The simulation results show that the full speed range of the soft position detection algorithm can quickly and accurately detect the motor speed and position information, since it less affected by the motor parameters change, that it has good dynamic and static performance. Finally, on the basis of the foregoing theory and simulation analysis, the article has carried on the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor soft position detection system hardware and software design.
